Beat the Heat Beach Read Bingo is Back!

Even if it's not the greatest weather for the beach, you can still be reading. Come down and pick up your bingo card and get started. You have until August 15 to get "Bingo" and you will be entered into a raffle to win a cool prize! Everyone who completes a bingo also gets a gift certificate to Bearly Used Books!

Guess what?

It's still raining!
I took a trip over to Gilmanton, NH yesterday and we are fairing better than a lot of people out that way. Why we don't have as many wash outs as they do I don't know, but I am thankful.
If there is a break in the rain, you could always come down to the library to read the paper, play a game of chess or scrabble or check out a few movies and books to bring home and hunker down with. Tonight, knitting circle will be happening, so if you are stir crazy, please join us. We'll knit, complain about the weather, and share our plans for what we will do as soon as the sun comes out.
